The US Government seems pretty irked about the whole wikileaks scandal. And why wouldn’t they? Nobody likes to have their private messages read by outside parties(Like NSA warrantless phone and electronic wiretaps) who feel entitled to have access. Wikileaks claims it’s for the greater good but it’s a clear invasion of the USA Governments privacy(Like TSA’s invasive patdowns). Hillary Clinton says there is nothing brave about putting innocent lives at risk(Like CIA funding and training jihadists like Osama Bin Laden to fight the Russians) and I totally agree with that. It’s potentially embarrassing for the embassies to have their private analysis judged as thought crimes(Like Patriot Act keeping track of library book rentals.) Julian Assange is just another egotistical guy pretending to be a journalist to get airtime(Like the 5:1 ratio of MSNBC and FOX hosts who are white-males compared to white-females with their very own show). The State Department is supposed to do things like collect credit card information, biometric information, and other personal things of high-profile people(Just don’t guess Sarah Palin’s email password.) And Pfc. Bradley Manning is kind of a traitor for leaking the documents(If military threw him out for being gay then it never would have happened). I mean this is all secret and very sensitive information that needs to be kept under wraps(The CD-RW’s are there to make sure the data can be moved to a safe location just incase.) I wouldn’t classify wikileaks as a terrorist organization(like hamas-controlled lebanon who receives US aid). Wikileaks really needs to do a better job of redacting sensitive information of these embassy cables(Wikileaks should do what wikileaks did and hire wikileaks to blackout information in the wikileaks warlogs.) Lastly I just want to say, what goes around comes around, knowledge is power, sunlight is the best disinfectant, yadayadayada. If government gets to examine my personal space then we should get to examine theirs.

The Republicans want more Bush tax cuts. Redoing the same plan will result in the same tax-increase in ten years on top of added debt today. Republicans claim they don’t want to burden children with the debt, but that’s exactly what repeating Bush economic policy will do. However the best way to get the economy going again is to make sure consumers have money in their pockets to increase demand. Taxing people won’t help anything.

Most small businesses aren’t on the stock exchange. Repeal the Bush capital gains tax, and use that money in stimulus checks split evenly among everybody. Last time Republicans tried stimulus checks the rich got fatter checks. This time the money should be split evenly among all peoples since it’s the middle class that’s bearing the burden of the economic disaster. The middle class that could use that money the most. For the rich folk $1000 is a night out or a casino chip. For the middle class $1000 is megalithic money. The Feds are monkeying around with $600B. That money split among everybody is roughly $1800. How would small businesses be doing if every customer had $1800 in their pocket?

I guess the question I would ask an economist would be “Is inflation the same no matter where $600B goes?”

At least the Rolling Stone article made McChrystal and the military sound cool.

Bob Woodward and “Obama’s Wars” LOL. All I can really say is, if General Stanley McChrystal is the standard then shouldn’t Vice President Joe Biden, Lt. Gen. Douglas E. Lute, Richard Holbrooke, James Jones, Admiral Mike Mullen, General James Cartwright, General David Petraeus, and Admiral Dennis Blair all have letters of resignation ready since the President “will not tolerate any division” on his team? At least the Rolling Stone article made McChrystal and the military sound cool.

As for Afghanistan(and the rest of the world for that matter) I don’t think they need guns I think they need butter! I used to be all for the Afghan war, but mainly cause it felt sorta right after 9-11 and it sounded way more righteous compared to the Iraq war. But when it stands alone by itself, I’m not so sure it’s the right thing. I guess that’s me losing the war of attrition and being all cowardly. That crazy Ayatollah dude in Iran could be like “I issue a fatwah against people who use bombs and people who throw acid on girls! Let girls go to school!!” And then maybe Afghans will take to the streets with peace signs and tell both sides to stop the violence. They need lame shit like that to unify them. So basically we’ll have victory in Afghanistan when the people there turn into hippies! Well they smoke dope so we’re already halfway there!!!

A partisan news station is what I expect from the other side.

I’m dejected. I hate FOXNews but I hate MSNBC even more. MSNBC makes me ashamed to be a Democrat. A couple years ago democrats rallied against FOXNews. We hated what it stood for, not so much that it was conservative but that it was politics pretending to be journalism. A partisan news station is what I expect from the other side. Seeing my guys stoop to the level of FOXNews is really disappointing. Chris Matthews posed the question awhile back “Why does the President bash cable-news, why doesn’t he just point out FOX, why does he have to group the rest of us in there?” Well Chris you guys are just as bad, that’s why. You can’t get much more partisan than the elitist snobby liberals Howard Fineman, Eugene Robinson, and Joan Walsh. Well I guess you can. Keith Olberman. omfg. A democrat wins the Presidency and Olberman goes on a power trip. He laughs when a guest calls Carrie Prejean a Bimbo, a “byatch”, and a “dingdong.” Same guest tries to be funny and says Prejean cut their “penis off and had a sex change operation.” And then invites the guest back again. Real classy there Keith. Did you put Musto on the World’s Worst? And every Friday the most talked about story in the country is………. Thurber? WTF!?!? Hell, Thurber is the LEAST talked about story. But hey, who am I to complain? Reading popular classics isn’t my cup of tea. Speaking of which joining the Tea Party on FOXNews sounds WAY more exciting than listening to god damn Thurber. I don’t care whether it’s Palin reading the Bible or Olberman reading Thurber, ex-sports reporters reading book is like watching librarians play sports. So I don’t get what MSNBC is trying to do. If they’re trying to be an organization of unbiased journalism they’re doing a terrible job. Their shows are boring and repetitive. The only thing I can gather is that they’re trying to balance out FOXNews. Well if they’re trying to do that they’re doing a terrible job on that too. Why on earth would the Democratic-mouthpiece have an Alpha Dog Republican on like Joe Scarborough and surround him with insecure Democrats. Not only that but they give him a hot girlfriend to sit beside. Joe Scarborough is in the power seat and he looks super cool and he’s a god damn Republican. MSNBC will be the moutpiece of democrats from 4-11pm but will make a Republican look super cool from 6-9am. It makes no sense. Don’t get me wrong I like Morning Joe. And Hardball. But that’s cause they’re the only two shows not made in the image of FOXNews. Note to CNN: Bring Crossfire back and put it on at 8pm, you’ll crush the other stations.

So yeah.. the News has let America down. They messed up in the Bush/Gore election. They messed up after 9-11. They messed up on the Patriot Act. They messed up on the Iraq War. Instead they spend 10 hours in a day focusing on Bubble Boy. They fuel divisiveness with town-halls and mosque debates. They don’t do much investigative reporting anymore. How are mechanics ripping people off nowadays? What do the meat packaging plants look like? Instead they spend time on the jail sentence Bubble Boy’s dad got. I have no idea what’s going on in Africa. Where’s the money trails? Where are all the injustices in the world? Instead they spend time announcing the new reality TV show that Bubble Boy’s family is getting.

Over the course of many years, people have disappointed. The government disappointed from MMS’s failure to secure a faulty mine and properly oversee drilling rigs. From letting Anthrax get stolen by an employee and scaring the country even more after 9-11. To royally fucking up hundreds of graves of our brave soldiers at Arlington. Big Business and Wall Street have let us down from Enron to WorldCom to crashing the economy and watching retirement plans disappear. Then permanently firing 100 employees just to combine their salary and give it to one CEO for one year. Trying to make the quick bucks by day trading with Austrian economic philosophy instead of investing in companies long term, like the way it was meant to be.

So you know what I say to that intrusive government, ruthless businesses, apathetic white collared, and ego-centric media? Well first I’m like “Bring it on.” But after a little bit of thought it’s more like “You win, I’ll be your sheep.” But then the numbing solace of gloom kicks in. Then my soul reboots and I’m like “let’s roll.”. But then I grow apathetic and I just shrug it off eventually like all the other crap in life I notice lol. how’s that for brief brutally honest introspective-ness o_O

On the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King Junior’s famous “I Have A Dream Speech”, the Tea Party will hold a massive protes….err gathering at the site of the Lincoln Memorial. Perhaps two blocks away wouldn’t be as offensive. Perhaps I’m being as ignorant of the Tea Party as the Tea Party is of an Islamic mosque. I could point out that the event organizer, Glenn Beck, called the President a racist. Or I could point out one of the key-note speakers, Sarah Palin, defended Dr. Laura for making insensitive racist comments. Or the stance the Tea Party has taken on things like immigration. But people already know all this, so what’s the point? Sure a lot of the Tea Party people seem to be racist, ignorant, hillbillies. But they’re also religious, patriotic, and genuine. There’s good and bad in all people. The Tea Party has had a lot of people stoking their anger. If only there were someone controversial who they hated that came out and attempted to connect with them.

“We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.”

I think it would be AWESOME if President Obama showed up and gave a speech to the Tea Party on August 28th at the Lincoln Memorial. Would it be the politically safe thing to do? Probably no. Would it be the physically safe thing to do? Hellz no! But would talking to haters be the MLK thing to do? I think so. It would really screw up everyones narrative if President Obama came out and was all nice and congratulated the Tea Party on taking the country back. Country as in Republican Party. He could rip the Bush administration apart saying how they weren’t conservatives and that the Tea Party should be proud that they got back in touch with their roots. How it’s a good thing because now he and the democrats can deal with people who walk the walk instead of talk the talk. The Tea Party honestly needs explained to them that most democrats see nothing wrong with fiscal conservatives and creative ideas. What democrats do is help people get to the doctors, what republicans do is make sure the bills can be paid. Neither side can get useful things accomplished without the other being strong too. And now that the real conservatives are back, well this is a good thing.

In order to reach out to independents, Joe Scarborough and the rest of the media is going to request/demand/suggest that President Obama speak with or about the Tea Party in depth. The Administration can either wait and play reactionary politics after watching Morning Joe and be one step behind. Or the Democrats can get one step ahead of the media once again and start creating the narrative of their own. Everybody is so mad at each other, and we’re mad that everybody is mad. This isn’t a macho contest anymore, whoever compliments/reaches out to the other side first is going to be the victor.

THE BEST

3)Televised Meeting on Healthcare This was awesome because it was pretty much the ONLY time that intelligence was bipartisan. It was nice seeing the heads of both parties openly debate the issues surrounding Healthcare and hear potential compromise being discussed. It was a win/win for both sides because the discomfort was equally distributed. The pressure was on and it was interesting to watch the politicians switch between political and policy maneuvering. President Obama came across as open-minded and Senator Coburn was impressive.

2) State of the Union #2 If I remember correctly all the democrats were wearing red. Not because they were showing their support for bipartisanship but because they were out for blood. The President was thorough yet subtle in demolishing the Republicans stance on everything. It appealed to Independents because it was logical and simple to understand. People had to listen between the lines to understand the majority of it was harsh criticism. It made Republicans blood boil so much that Representative Joe Wilson couldn’t take it anymore and infamously shouted “You Lie!”

1) Cairo Speech This is the historical one. It showed true awareness and the utmost class on the part of the President. Quoting Holy Books and historical peace-makers is always the best way to make ones case in a diplomatic way. It was a big blow to extremists and may have even helped spur Iranian students to protest their government. It was a speech far ahead of our times and will be much more popular hundreds of years from now.

THE WORST

3)Beer Summit Oh it had so much potential. In theory, it sounded awesome but it was one of the worst photo-ops ever. It looked more like a fancy wine and cheese party. I mean seriously wasn’t there some type of sports game on that they could have watched on the big screen? Or maybe sitting on the porch in reclining lawn chairs drinking out of bottles with a baseball bat in hand making threatening gestures to the reporters? A Hooter’s waitress delivering the beer would’ve been awesome and it sure would change the subject quick!

2) Silence on Iraq wtf we won didn’t we? I mean I understand that the war was a choice and it’s not over and we still got to wait and see and there will still be violence and they don’t want a Mission Accomplished kind of thing but still! I mean this is a big deal, the combat troops are pulling out and where is the President? There’s lots of bad stuff all around the American people need something to celebrate. We can be cautiously cheerful. But the way I see it is one down one to go.

1) Oval Office Oil Disaster MSNBC was selling this thing all day long. This was a big fucking deal. The President’s first Oval Office Address. ooOoOoOoo. Wow what a disappointment. It was oversold big time. There was no new information, no goosebumps, no getting lost in the poetry of the logic, just a dull speech with repetitive things we already knew. It was supposed to be epic and it was an epic let down. It would have been better if they waited another month and the President came on and was like “Good Evening America, For now the oil leak is sealed. BP shipped their CEO Tony Hayward to Siberia. We still have a lot of work to do and we need to do a better job of helping those that live around the Gulf and not forget about them just cause the mainstream media is going to. Goodnite.” A 30 second break in would be awesome!!

Hmmmm. Ummm. Hrrrmmmm. It’s not that I don’t care anymore it’s just I’m not riled up about anything. Either that or I’m so riled up about everything that nothing gets me riled up anymore. Last August, town hall meetings were exploding because democrats were talking about doing some healthcare reform while the republicans were against it from the get-go. And yes, Republicans are so against healthcare help that they won’t even vote yes on a bill that would give 9-11 emergency responders funds to get treatment. I wish the town halls this year were going to be about the 9-11 workers but instead it’ll probably be about how Hispanics should have to carry around Drivers License to walk down streets. Forget work permits, if Republicans have their way we’ll need a Walking License.

I went to a Tea Party/Support Arizona Rally because the circus clowns were out of town and it was the next best thing. While I was there I heard *no* policy discussions. All I heard was things like the Bible is the foundation for this country and the federal government has abandoned us and John Murtha shouldn’t get a Navy ship named after him. At the end during open-mic time some nice Hispanic lady went up and said she was against the law. There were three ladies sitting next to me, one shouted “IS SHE LEGAL?!” one said “She she go home.” and the other kept her mouth shut. So by my own unofficial analysis 33% of the Tea party is racist, 33% racial profiles, and the last 33% know when to keep their mouths shut. I think it’s hilarious/genius how the Tea Party split from the Republican party leaving behind all the George W. Bush baggage. Then the Republican party recombined with the Tea Party with the end result of having totally transformed itself. Democrats let their guard down and have been on defensive most of the time. The Dems politics on a debate standpoint have been pretty poor. I think it’s cause Dems argue like they’re infront of a jury trying to win the intellectual debate-club. A political debate isn’t a normal debate, but intellectual-liberals don’t realize this. They don’t realize politics is about making the other guy squirm by making the other guy’s point your point.

The Bush Tax Cuts are about to expire and we’re about to face the biggest tax increase in the nation’s history. (instead of switching to the unemployment bill dems should be like) Damn Straight! When Republicans voted for that bill they knew it would lead to the largest tax increase in the nation’s history at the end. It’s the result of their economic near-sightedness that we might have the largest tax increase. It’s the result of Republican votes, of the Republican plan, that we’re facing higher taxes in the midst of a poor economy. Republicans voted for lower taxes short-term, but higher-taxes long-term. It’s just the democrats bad luck that they’re the ones in charge, and the average citizens bad luck that the Republican-tax plan is raising taxes right now. It’s not the result of democrat votes it’s the result of republican votes during the bush years!!! Thanks to Republicans, America’s chickens are coming home to roost!(throw in some jeremiah wright quotes will fly over most peoples heads but any repubs wont know where to start a rebuttal har har)

Illegals are hurting the economy our debt can’t handle them. Damn straight! And if we round em all up and deport them that’ll cost even more money. We should do what we do to most non-violent criminals, make them pay a fine, and back-taxes while they’re out it, and use that money to pay off the debt. Dangle a worker-visa or threat with jail time to make em pay up. There’s 10-20 million illegals. That’s a whole lot of fines, back taxes, and future taxes. They’re already here, but they owe tons of money, so lets get that money but if we just kick them out we’ll lose money we’re owed AND have to spend even more to get them out of here. And don’t even think about saying that’s amnesty. Paying fines isn’t amnesty. Amnesty is what Republican Joe Barton wants for his oil buddies at BP and their oil spill.

Speaking of… leak is capped. Hayward is in Siberia. God’s in his Heaven, all is right in the world.

….except if ur in gulf coast and all alone now that the media has it’s happy ending.

Ok i’m tired i had a fun tiem talking to myself lol

Almost Famous is a movie about a kid writing for rolling stone and here’s a quote:
Lester Bangs: My advice to you. I know you think those guys are your friends. You wanna be a true friend to them? Be honest, and unmerciful.

Well that’s what McChrystal did!

I was watching Morning Joe when I first heard about the Rolling Stone article which featured General McChrystal. My first impression was “cut him he’s like Terrell Owens.” But then I thought about it, and thought about it, and kept thinking about it. McChrystal is the talent. He might tell reporters what he’s not supposed to. He may come across as insubordinate. But usually when something isn’t going well(like Afghanistan) it’s the most aware person(T.O)who bashes the naive people thinking all is well. McChrystal doesn’t need to be fired he needs to be talked to genuinely like a human being and have all his concerns addressed. So even before I read the article I came to the conclusion that McChrystal was probably right-on-the-money about his comments. Those in the red, white, and blue Ivory Towers think they’re doing soooooo much but all they’re really doing is going through the motions of mediocrity, assuming their powerful positions will turn their boring-performances into spectacular fanfare. And here he is, the ONE guy who seems to be equally balanced in mind and gut, and the anti-afghanistan crowd is asking for his resignation.

Grima Wormtongue anti-war liberals are probably whispering in President Obama’s ear to force a resignation of McChrystal. Chris Matthews is on T.V. right now but there’s no doubt in my mind that the single-minded belt-way guests and later the Glenn-Beck-Wannabe-Ed-Schultz and the clueless-nasal-whining-Olbermann will be all over Stanley McChrystal for insubordination. Of course if it happened 3 years ago they’d all be saying “Stan The Man rocks!!!” The anti-war crowd wants him out cause it helps their case. It seems stupid for McChrystal to leave. The soldiers love him(well most according to article) , he’s got the charisma, he’s got the talent, the only problem is he tells it like it is. Which is only a problem for the entire Ivory Tower establishment which thinks “ok i will give it some thought, trust my first gut reaction, and since i’m the vice-president/national security advisor/whatever-the-fuck it’s got to be a great idea cause i’m me and i’m great hardy har fucking har”(rolling stone rocks)

BTW Lady writes letter to white house asking for help with her husbands greencard. White House wants to help and passes on info thinking they will help him. Agents come and arrest the man and put him into jail. Moral of the story? If you want something done right you have to do it yourself. LITERALLY!!@)#*(@&!#&(*@#!&*(@#!&*(@!#&*(@!(&*#

Green got 58.96% of the vote. Sheheen ALSO got 58.96% of the vote. Is it a surprise that every county in SC uses ELECTRONIC VOTING EQUIPMENT??

According to South Carolina all 46 Counties use electronic voting with no paper-print out.

count++;
if(count=3)
{Green_Votes=Green_Votes+1; Rawl_Votes=Rawl_Votes-1; count=0}

It could take 3 lines of code(or less) to guarantee that every third vote goes to a candidate. A couple more lines could make sure the program code itself was deleted at a certain time in the day, leaving no trace behind. It could be located on the voting machines, the cartridge, or on the ending counting device. A voter could walk in, plug their own cartridge in the machine for a second, and walk out, leaving behind a virus that will change the votes on the machine and deletes itself at the end of the day(also possible installs a virus that stays on machine, transfers to cartridge, which then transfers virus to central voting tabulation computer, gives false results, then deletes itself). Electronic voting may make counting the votes easier, but it also makes election fraud easier as well. Remember historically how bad voting fraud was back in the day? Are we more or less honorable than compared to the days of Tammany Hall?

Personally if I went to vote and I saw two names of people I didn’t know like “Vic Rawl and Alvin Green” I would more than likely vote for Alvin Green cause he sounds like a nerdy smart guy and Vic Rawl sounds like a wrestler. However it just seems kind of unlikely that he would win(even tho his name is appealing) because he didn’t advertise his campaign in any traditional ways other than word-of-mouth. He’s also a pretty bad interview, either that or an incredible actor.

Alvin M Greene(D-SENATE) received 58.96% of the vote. Vincent A Sheheen(D-GOVERNOR) also received exactly 58.96% of the vote.

Coincidence? Uhhhhh lol
